Currently I have Shimano R132L in a 44, only 3 months old but they are to narrow at the front and make my toes go numb and it can be pretty painfull.

Any recommendations on shoes for people with wide feet?

I have heard the Specialied Body Geometry shoes are great for wide feet, so gonna see if I can find a place to try them, any other suggestions?

I found that Northwave seem to be a decent width and picked up a pair of carbon MTB shoes from CBD. Dunno who else sells 'em - have a look around.

Sidi also do mega sizes eg 44 and 44 mega for people with wide feet. I also take the 44 mega.

at Avanti Northside today, 44 felt pretty decent with quite a bit of room.

Will try the others as well.
