The meeting times are 'ready to ride'. If you need time to prepare equipment then please arrive a few minutes earlier.

2.5 hours
Come Rain or Shine:
If it's raining, I won't be there.
Meeting Point:

Nearest Intersection Broughton Street and Burton Street Milsons Point ...

Show on Google maps: Meeting point. Login or register to get directions.

meet new people; suitable for newbies;
social ride / social pace; no xc elites or dh heros please;
mountain bikes, comfort bikes, hybrids, road bikes, unicycles, etc;
the most difficult bits are gutters and stairs; which, of course, can be detoured, ridden around or walked;
the only reason a mountain bike might be preferred is that i will bring a spare tube (or two) for a 26" wheel.

some of the things you are likely to see along the first leg to anzac bridge ...

a little bit like the spring cycle; we might even stop for a coffee on the way;
we will ride along the water as much as possible, in and around every pier / boardwalk possible;
more the merrier; bring a friend; even the slowest will not be left behind, the fastest might be able to form a separate group.

there is a very good chance there will be another group of three, four or five, not from nobmob, in our proximity most of, if not all of the time;
i know three of them, two boys, one girl; all very nice people; there is [already] enough variety that everyone should feel comfortable.

you will be expected to find your own way back, might i suggest by train, from sydney olympic park.
i too will be considering a train, or depending on how i feel a ride back along the way we came.
