Hopefully the weather brightens up a little.

Optional on the day: Hit out to the Brooklyn Bridge and grab a coffee or two at PITs, rather than doing Bobbo? Cool

Should be good!

Hopefully the weather brightens a little. It's meant to be all right on Sunday.

Well it now looks like the

Well it now looks like the rain is behind us so going by the radar and forecast it will be good weather for tomorrow Smiling

Thanks for the ride. Good to

Thanks for the ride. Good to see pikey has come across to the dark side Smiling

Nice

Yeah - perfect temperatures - the last climb got a little too hot last week.

Cervelo is soooooo nice to ride. Legs feel good. Here's hoping shoulders don't lock up over the next 2 days.

I PB'd (just - after 20 second penalty) up the Berowra climb Smiling

Thanks Guys

Thanks Guys for waiting for me on only three occasions, Oh yeah it was only three gorges, next time I must read the ride program, thanks Brian for throwing in Bobbin Head just when I thought I had survived the first two bitch hills, overall its all good as I lost 2 kg, Cool. Smiling

So Pikey,

Are you enjoying the dark side?
Watch, as you mysteriously leave your mtb mates in your dust!

Mud mates

I haven't got any mud mates anymore, like you and others I got banished..... Eye-wink

My bike set up is 53-39 and 11-23 but want an easier gear as I was struggling out of Bobbin Head and Shano was compacting it away....

I cant afford to compact my cranks so want to go as high on the rear as I can with a short cage.

Do they make/ can I go 12-32 in the rear help please?

Greg

HTFU Greg!

That's the problem with full time Mtb'ers. They spin like crazy and never gain the power of a road rider.
You'll get used to it Pikey and become a lot stronger because of it.
Martine pushes bigger gears than that around Mosman hills!

Compacts

Greg... I've got a brand new set of compact cranks sitting at home... unwanted warranty exchange job... make me an offer Eye-wink

Pratiwi runs compact with 12-27 - any more than that and think you'd be looking at a mountain derailleur.

Gearing

I rode all of the Southern Highlands on a 53-39 and a 25-11, the climbs down there are like 3x longer than Bobbo and about 5 x times steeper lol.

Put it in the big ring and ride in 15 and so some strength reps and before you know it you will be powering up there.
