Its a lovely read, made all the nicer in the knowledge that Lisa is a great girl.
We got to know her a bit at the MTB race in Langkawi.
She was racing in Malaysia with us (Jenny and I and also Supagav and V) and we all stuck together.
Lisa openly admits she isnt a MTB rider, but she got stuck in a gave it a good crack - all because her boyfriend wanted to go.
I wouldnt be surprised if we see her at a few of the tamer national XC rounds, or maybe even the odd fire-road based marathon...

Denial of food and sleep coupled with extensive exhaustion, pyschological alienation and unrelenting pain and then more pain!
I like the fact that the SAS methods are used for training elite athletes, at the top end of the field its really 90% mental and 10% physical.
