For Sale: Trek Madone 6.9 (52cm)

By Antsonline - Posted on 07 February 2012

Jenny is selling her Trek Madone 6.9 roadie. She is only doing this as she is now riding Giant bikes. She LOVES this bike, and for various reasons is dear to her and so has been super looked after.
Its Project One paint job (i.e. a custom colour) in White with silver outline graphics, and has very limited 'TREK' branding. Its a stunning bike.

The important dimensions are - 52cm frame, with a 52cm top-tube (c-c). In terms of sizing, she is rides either a small (with lots of seatpost) or a medium MTB. She is riding a 'M' Giant Anthem, but a 'S' Giant 29er.

Its a very standard, high spec. Its full Ultegra. All the drivetrain is in excellent condition.
The wheels are DuraAce C24 (1450grm) clinchers - excellent training and racing wheels. The stem is an Easton EA90 (their best ally stem), and the bar is a carbon Easton EC70 with a flat top section - for comfort and aero.

What more can I say? If you are a lady, it can come with a ladys saddle and if you are a guy, we have a guys saddle. It comes with the built in Trek DuoTrap computer (in the chainstay) and the Bontrager Computer Head Unit (not pictured) - in white, that goes with it.

You can see that she rode it with a lot of spare steerer tube, so there is a lot of adjustment possible to raise or drop the bars.

Its a really nice bike that is ridiculously light (sub 7kg). Ultegra works just as well as DuraAce so you are buying a pro-level road bike. You could race on it, train on it - whatever.
Remember - its the same bike that Lance rides. No different.

Marathon season is coming - if you wanna go fast, give in to the dark side of the force. Hit the road. You wont look back.
