2011 Scott Speedster S40
Size Large.
Purchased in Feburary 2012. Not even 1 year old.
RRP Price in Australia was $1299.
Carbon fork, Alloy frame.
This is the 2 chainring version. (50 - 34)

Full details here...

The bike has recently had its chain & cassette changed.
(Ultegra cassette 12-25 - DuraAce chain)

I have also changed the tyres recently as seen in the photos.
(Continental GP4000s)

There are 2 small marks on the drive side chainstay (as seen in photo). These have not affected the frame in any way, just the paint.

I've been using this bike for training. However the more I ride on the roads, the more I notice a new 'phase' in society where many people are using their smartphones whilst driving. I don't mean talking, I mean emailing, texting etc. It freaks me out. I thought that I'd keep the bike for much longer, but I guess I've had too many close calls. (including being hit in 2011 on my old Anthem)

So, the bike is going. I'm going to replace it with a rigid MTB. Maybe an El Mariachi, or Unit... Still looking. I'll blast the firetrails for training.

I replaced the cassette & chain well before they needed to be, and the tyres are almost new.

Also includes -
1 spare tube.
Bottle Cage.
Cateye trip computer.

Pedals shown are not included, but I do have some old cheap flat pedals I can put on the bike if needed.

I live near Morisset - and work in Sydney. So if you are keen, I can meet you around 7pm in Wahroonga some weeknights. Email me if you have any questions.
