As discussed, this will be a slow paced ride suitable for those getting into road biking. Although a medium level of fitness is required as the route has 2 climbs of 200m vertical each plus the usual undulations.

The route will be along Pacific Highway, down through Galston Gorge and out the other side, over to Berowra waters to catch the ferry (only takes couple minutes) then up from there back to the Pacific Highway. At this point we can decide as a group, and how people are feeling what to do. The options will be:

Given I can't really ride off road at the moment am thinking of trying to do a Sunday morning scum from home (that's St Leonards).

Thought it might be nice to ride over to Manly/North Head and back - it's about 50km in total (with detours to Balmoral and the zoo on the way back) and takes couple of hours.

Although be warned... given my physical condition (rib injury) I might ride for 5 minutes and decide this is a bad idea. Guess the point is, don't make a special effort to be there, but if you're in the area and want to say hello that would be nice Smiling

We WILL be stopping at Pie in the sky cause i am a pie bandit and can't ride past it without one, i guess that explains why i have put on a few kilos.
